上海二工电气有限公司是专业生产低压电气的公司，前身是上海工业大学的校办厂，属于，1993年改为股份制企业。在上海嘉定和浙江天台有自己的工厂，产品销售国内外。 生产的产品为APT品牌，拥有3E、CE、UL认证。公司在北京和广州各有办事处，广东办于2007已经成立分公司；全国各省市设有45家特约经销商。天台生产基地主要负责生产成熟及上规模的主要产品。嘉定希望城内拥有占地26亩的研发测试基地，并有用国内专业产品测试、检测中心，该检测设备投资500多万，设备专业程度现已超过电科所，主要用于传统的常规测试，确保质量长期稳定。
